For those who live there, is it true that Hilo is usually overcast?
Does it rain 270 days per year or does it rain really hard for a few days and sprinkle the rest?

- Hilo is the Wet Side...rains a little everyday.
- Think Seattle with palm trees & warm temperature.
- Well since it IS winter time, almost there, it is beginning to rain a lot more. Cause it only snows on Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea, so it just rains. But we actualy just got over a real long drought last week. But it is actually sunny somewhat. But it does have it's good share of rain here. Hence the fact everything is green.
