  1. There is a volcano at Yellowstone National Park, it is called the 'Yellowstone Volcano', but it rarely erupts. This is the reason why it is extremely safe to visit that park.
  2. No...
  3. No they have hot springs.
  4. Check out their Web site. Its a great park to visit!
  5. Yes, infact it just about covers the whole park. Hasn't erupted in thousands of years but the heat it gives off is why there are geysers and hot springs there. If it does blow, three fourths of the US is doomed. http://www.solcomhouse.com/yellowstone.htm http://armageddononline.tripod.com/volcano.htm
  6. Yellowstone National Park IS a volcano. three of them actualy, thats why is so geographicly active. Almost a third of Wyoming is three inactive volcanos. As a matter of fact, its been a major debate that america's worst possible disastor would be yellowstone erupting.
  7. Yes, there is an active volcano at Yellowstone. If you want more information about it, check out these short (2 minutes each) videos from the park website. They do a pretty good job of explaining about the volcano there. http://www.nps.gov/archive/yell/insideyellowstone/0022volcanorelated2.htm
