Difference between volcanoes?
Does anyone know the difference between the Mount St. Helen's volcano and the Yellowstone national park volcano? and help would be great! Thanks =)

- From what I saw in the National Geographic channel the volcano at Yellowstone national park is a super volcano and if it ever was to erupt all of North America will be destroyed. Here's the link check it out. It explains it better than I can. www.solcomhouse.com/yellowstone.htm
- Mt. St. Helen is a volcano that is formed by the collision of two plates, the subduction of the Juan de Fuca plate under the North American plate. Yellowstone is not formed by the collision of two plates but rather by the North American plate riding over a "hot spot" deep in the Earth's mantle.
